About Us
Here is our most recent family picture, taken in Fall of 2007:) The kids are 8, 6 and 4 – Dave and I are 27 & 26.
Dave and I met in high school in 1996. Nearly a year later, we started dating. We had originally planned a winter wedding, but when we discovered I was pregnant, we ended up having a early summer wedding after dating for 2 years.
Ariel is our eldest. Her dad wanted to name her Ariel Belle – I thought that was a bit much, so we settled for Ariel Sheree. This picture was taken when she was about a year old, at her church dedication service.
When Ariel was just over a year old, we started discussing having another child. We had taken a while to get pregnant the first time. We thought it would take a while the second time to. At that time, we knew if I got pregnant, they would be about 2 years apart and we were hoping for 2-3 years. We started trying, I got pregnant immediatly, and their due dates were only one day apart! Ariel was born at 8:26 pm and Kahlan was born two years later, on the same date at 8:26 am!!! We gave him a very special middle name, after my little brother who passed away in 2000.
Rayelle was our surprise baby – we were planning on two. By complete chance, she ended up being due only 4 days earlier then her siblings! The first two came a week late, Rayelle decided to come on time, arriving on her due date.
(Dave’s birthday is a week earlier, so we have ALL 4 BIRTHDAYS in less then one month time!! It is INSANE!)
