Heading To The Library
Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007It has been a very eventful week! My baby sister, Kari, graduated on Thursday and Cheryl (sister who recently moved across country) flew out on Wednesday to surprise us for her graduation! It was so wonderful to get to see her again, and of course, she spoiled the kids rotten. Ariel got a bunch of new clothes – one of which has been passed to Rayelle because it was a tad small, lol.
Friday Lisa and I decided to take the kids to the library. It’s a good 45 minute walk with kids but we went in the morning so the weather was great. Ariel got signed up for the summer reading program while the little kids looked at books and then she read them all a story. It was very cute – I can’t believe how grown up she is already!
After picking some books to take home, the kids played at the park for a while and then we walked home. It was almost noon by now and getting really warm so we stopped at 7-11 for some much needed refreshments. Slurpees of course – this is Manitoba after all, lol. The kids napped VERY well once we got home – even Ariel!
